gay eldest daughter is a collection of critters all sharing one human skin (for now). these critters create in a variety of styles all built on a foundation of clawhammer banjo.
whether it's the banjo-infused, queer anthemic rock of their newest single, "want her (wanna be her)", or the bittersweet folktronica of their previous single, "keeping you alive", their music takes a grand, maximalist approach to bedroom recording and folk musical sounds.
their debut album, taller than the redwoods, explores and celebrates plurality, lesbian love, fat liberation, anticapitalism, and the many facets of transfeminine experience. it releases march 6th, 2026.
